Party Girl is one of those movies I literally can watch over

& over & over & over again. Beyond her impeccable fashion 

taste, and easily relatable situations, this film captures so 

many small quirks and moments that leave me constantly 

entertained. I completely connect with the ever so charming, 

highly disastrous, highly lovable Mary character, played 

by Parker Posey. 

Her style is sixties mod furs mixed with disco platforms

and late eighties/early nineties bright colors. Shes a walking

Charles Jourdan heel!

She captured a whimsical girl prancing through

a forest of pretty woodland creatures, topped

off in bows and rich satins. Isn't that

what every girl wears to the forest? 

Well, all I know, is that I want to be that girl♥

Electric Feathers

I haven't had a second to sit and sip some wine. I've been running

on long hours full of espresso and coffee instead. Between Paper

Magazine, working at Horizons, class, and Samantha Pleets photo

shoot for her fall 09 lookbook, I doubt I could fit anything else in 

besides sleeeeeep. However, a dear friend, and designer, Leana 

Zuniga, has asked me to help out with her Fashion Week show. I 

cannot resist being around her creative universe and beautifully 

conceptual designs. Below is a photo shoot she shot with 

photographer Phillips De Pury and model Irina Lazareanu wearing

her past collection. Leana is such a busy creature herself, but as soon

as I can sit down for a coffee with her I'll post an interview 

so we all can get to know a little more of what goes on in

her universe.

Below are some of my favorite pieces. I work for clothing

from her. Her designs are priceless! 

Truly electric & completely organic. Wouldn't you want to

wear that tye dye dress to a lazy brunch in June?
