Electric Feathers

I haven't had a second to sit and sip some wine. I've been running

on long hours full of espresso and coffee instead. Between Paper

Magazine, working at Horizons, class, and Samantha Pleets photo

shoot for her fall 09 lookbook, I doubt I could fit anything else in 

besides sleeeeeep. However, a dear friend, and designer, Leana 

Zuniga, has asked me to help out with her Fashion Week show. I 

cannot resist being around her creative universe and beautifully 

conceptual designs. Below is a photo shoot she shot with 

photographer Phillips De Pury and model Irina Lazareanu wearing

her past collection. Leana is such a busy creature herself, but as soon

as I can sit down for a coffee with her I'll post an interview 

so we all can get to know a little more of what goes on in

her universe.

from her. Her designs are priceless!

Can I borrow that?

As I was flipping through the pages of Ginnifer Goodwin

on Adorevintage.com's forum, I couldn't help but sort of get..

jealous! Dress after dress, look after look, I was thinking, I want

that! I want to borrow that! I want to have somewhere to wear

that! Yes, I have been stuck in my everyday 'fuck its too cold' ensemble: 

Black skinnys & an oversized flannel. Winter gets me stuck in this 

fashion rut. So Thank You Ms. Goodwin, you reminded me that there

is such a thing called dressing up & feeling confident. 

I have been stuck in more than just a fashion

rut lately. I truly am a lost 22 year old. Im starting

to ask myself more and more "What do I want to be

when I grow up?"

Well I officially graduate and grow up in less than

3 months. Pardon my french again, but, fuck thats

scary.

Another February

It is February 1st, and I have two things to do:

1. Pay rent.

2. Find a valentine.

I loved this editorial from Teen Vogue. The photos are whimsical,

romantic, and sincerely innocent. I miss being in a relationship,

a lot.

sigh.
